Flatweave designs, shaped around your home.

Texture, proportion & precision

A distinctive weave.
A specialist approach.

Flatweave has a fabric-like character and a low profile, with woven texture and pattern doing the talking. Stripes can emphasise the sweep of a staircase, while quieter designs bring a softer, understated rhythm.

That character also calls for experienced fitting. Pattern placement, shaped steps and changes of direction need to be considered together, with the underlay and fixing method selected for the particular runner.

We look at the staircase as a whole, so the finished result feels at home in your interior.

Before we begin

A few things you may be wondering.

Don’t know where to start?

Our team can help you find a starting point, from colours and patterns to what works with your staircase. Get in touch with the team, or explore our Instagram for inspiration.

Why does flatweave need a specialist fitter?

Its fabric-like construction behaves differently from a conventional fitted carpet. Handling the weave, arranging the pattern and working around turns takes experience. We follow the fitting guidance for the specific product rather than treating every runner in the same way.

What about winding stairs and landings?

Turns and landings need individual planning. We’ll discuss the pattern direction, any joins and the most suitable finish after seeing your staircase and chosen runner.

Which underlay and fixings will you use?

These depend on the runner. We check the manufacturer’s requirements before installation and choose the supporting materials accordingly. The correct combination is part of the fitting plan.
